Netanyahu returns in full force after colonoscopy

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a number of polyps removed after undergoing a routine colonscopy procedure on Friday.
The procedure was carried out by Prof. Eran Goldin, the head of the gastroenterology department at Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, the premier returned to full activity after the Friday morning procedure, during which he was under anesthesia.
While he was briefly sedated, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon was acting prime minister. In 2014, during his last colonscopy, Netanyahu, 65, also had a polyp removed, which was tested and found to be benign.
