Netanyahu seeks A-G's legal opinion on expelling terrorists' families to Gaza

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday sought legal council on the possibility of expelling to the Gaza Strip the family members of terrorists who have committed attacks against Israelis.

In light of the spate of terrorist incidents over the past months, the premier implored Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit for his legal opinion on the matter in a letter Wednesday.

"I believe that the implementation of this approach will bring about a vital decrease in terrorist activities against Israel and its citizens and residents," Netanyahu said in the letter.
