Netanyahu sends letter of condolences to Obama following Navy Yard shooting

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a letter of condolences to US President Barack Obama on Tuesday following Monday's shooting at the Washington Navy Yard.
"On behalf of the people of Israel, please accept my heartfelt condolences following the tragedy at the Washington Navy Yard," the letter from the prime minister said.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of this heinous crime, and we pray for a speedy recovery for the injured."
