Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the commando unit along IDF's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot and other senior officials on Tuesday. Netanyahu held a discussion with the fighters participating in the exercise and told them that "the biggest repair to antisemitism is the State of Israel and the IDF," he said. "Once we were a leaf blown in the wind and anyone could massacre us. Today we have strength to respond," he said. "On the eve of Hannukah the spirit of the Maccabees is here — you are the Maccabees. We overcome our enemies with extraordinary strength."
