Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is slated to meet with US President Donald Trump's special representative for international negotiations Jason Greenblatt later on Thursday.
Speaking about the upcoming meeting on Thursday morning's cabinet meeting, the premier said that "we are in a dialogue process with White House and our intention is to reach an agreed policy on settlement construction."
The prime minister stressed that the policy will be one that "will be acceptable to us as well, not just to the American side." He also referred to his "commitment" to the former residents of the Amona outpost, which was evacuated in January after the government and the residents of the settlement failed to reach an agreement. "To the Amona residents I will say once more- I made a commitment to you and I will stick to it." Dana Somberg contributed to this report.
