Netanyahu to hold security assessment of Gaza situation

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a security assessment of the situation near the Gaza border with Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman, IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot and other security officials at noon Thursday in the Kiriya military complex in Tel Aviv, according to a press release.
Rocket sirens have been sounded since late Wednesday, in places as far as Ashkelon.
