Netanyahu touts his fight against terror, slams Left's 'babbling'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu touted his government's efforts to fight terror on Monday while lambasting the opposition for "babbling" in their attacks against him.
Netanyahu singled out Peace Now director-general Yariv Oppenheimer, who formerly ran on the Labor list, and Joint List leader Ayman Odeh who both released statements on Sunday night about a fire at the offices of left-wing NGO B'Tselem.
The fire was originally suspected to have been caused by arson, and both Odeh and Oppenheimer stated that the incitement of the Netanyahu government was responsible for the apparent crime. On Monday, however, an investigation of the fire found that it was actually caused by an electrical fault.
"They may try to blame me for the electrical short as well," Netanyahu quipped at Monday's Likud faction meeting. "All of these lies and this mudslinging won't stop me or us from continuing to lead the persistent and unwavering fight against terror in our way - the Likud way."
