Netanyahu: transportation crisis 'unnecessary'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the weekend's political dispute over train construction during Shabbat at the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting Sunday.
"We were able to build infrastructure without unnecessary crisis. I expect full cooperation on this issue from all the  ministers," he said as left-wing MK's and ultra-Orthodox factions went head-to-head on the matter.
"This crisis is unnecessary and we should not have gotten to this situation, in Israel there is a status-quo and we respect that," Netanyahu said "When there is work that must be done on Shabbat then it is done on Shabbat, and when it isn't urgent it is not done on Shabbat."
