Netanyahu very encourag

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday evening told a gathering of his Likud Party that he was "very encouraged by the commitment of [Egyptian] President [Hosni] Mubarak to promote the peace process between us and the Palestinians." Netanyahu spoke shortly after returning from Cairo, where he held a three-hour meeting with the Egyptian president, his intelligence chief Omar Suleiman, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Aboul Gheit. "I expect and hope to see such a readiness from the Palestinian Authority," the premier said. "It is time to move the peace process forward."
