Netanyahu's office: There's no decrease in US aid to Israel

The United States will not cut aid to Israel, the Prime Minister's Office clarified Wednesday after the White House objected to a congressional request to bolster funding for Israel's missile defense program.
The PMO stated that the issue related to an internal debate between the US Congress and the White House over an additional $455  million to the yearly missile defense aid budget.
"Attempts to turn the dialogue with the US into a tool for Israeli political gloating is unacceptable and any expressions of panic are out of place," the PMO stated.
The missile defense aid budget will not be decreased but increased, Netanyahu's office underlined.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stressed that the premier was working to anchor the addition allocation as a part of an Israeli-US aid agreement slated for the next 10 years.
