AMSTERDAM - The Netherlands has not recognized the Libyan rebels, a foreign ministry spokesman said on Thursday, denying a statement by the Transitional National Council of rebels fighting to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi."It is incorrect," said Ward Bezemer, speaking from Rome, "The Netherlands has not recognized them."
