Nine Israelis stranded on River Rio Verde in Bolivia after rainstorms

Extremely heavy rains in Bolivia on Saturday caused the River Rio Verde in Bolivia to overflow, which left nine Israeli travelers stranded, the Foreign Ministry reported.
The Israeli tourists were traveling by raft along the river when heavy rainstorms caused damage to the raft and loss of equipment.
The travelers, who were located by GPS signal, were determined to be in good condition and were able to make contact with their families.
Rescue teams were deployed and the group of Israelis are expected to be returned to safety within the coming hours.
