NJ Gov. Christie enters 2016 Republican presidential race

LIVINGSTON, N.J. - New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced his candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination on Tuesday, joining a large field of contenders seeking to win the White House next year.
The brash Christie, 52, launched his campaign at Livingston High School in New Jersey, where he was once class president.
