No new permits for oil exploration on land in Israel will be issued anymore, Energy Minister Karine Elharrar announced on Wednesday at a meeting of the Knesset Special Committee for the Israeli Citizens' Fund.
Energy Ministry Director-General Ehud (Udi) Adiri announced during the meeting as well that only electric cars will be imported into Israel starting in 2030.
