NY governor Cuomo cancels Israel trip over Hoboken train crash

WASHINGTON -- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo cancelled his planned trip to Israel, where he intended to participate in the funeral of Shimon Peres, after a train crashed on Thursday across the Hudson River from New York City.
The crash, at the highly commuted station of Hoboken, New Jersey, took one life and injured at least 108 others.
Cuomo had hoped to pay his respects to Peres, a founding father of Israel who died on Tuesday night at age 93.
