Obama extends support for White House aide chosen as next ADL director

US President Barack Obama offered his congratulations Thursday night to While House aide Jonathan Greenblatt, who was chosen to succeed Abraham Foxman as the Anti-Defamation League's next national-director.
Obama lauded Greenblatt as a "valued member" of his administration's team and extended his support for the ADL, praising it for more than a century as "a strong moral voice against anti-Semitism and hatred in all forms."
"I am confident that Jonathan will build on Abe’s extraordinary legacy, ensuring that the Anti-Defamation League remains at the forefront of efforts to achieve greater justice, freedom, and equality for people in the United States and across the globe," Obama said in a statement.
