Obama to Chinese: We need to reduce trade imbalances

US President Barack Obama's White House told China's Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi that the two countries need to work together to reduce trade imbalances in preparatory meetings before Chinese President Hu Jintao's White House visit later this month, Dow Jones reported.
According to the report, the Chinese foreign minister said that China is committed to building a relationship "that is comprehensive in scope, positive in achievement, and cooperative in nature."
The two also discussed the recent instability on the Korean Peninsula, according to Dow Jones.
