Obama urges Palestinians, Israel, Arab states to resume peace talks

US President Barack Obama urged Palestinians, Israelis and Arab states to take steps to advance the Middle East peace process, as he wants all sides to restart negotiations as soon as possible, Reuters quoted the White House as saying on Thursday. In a phone conversation with Jordan's King Abdullah, Obama agreed on the need to move forward on Middle East peace, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters.
