Obama: US ready to impose more sanctions over Ukraine's Crimea but diplomacy still option

WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama on Monday said the United States was ready to impose further sanctions on Russia over its incursion into Ukraine's Crimea region but that there was still a path to resolve the crisis diplomatically.
Obama, in a statement to reporters, also underscored NATO's "solemn commitment" to the collective defense of the alliance's members.
