OECD conference called into question over minister's remark

The OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) Secretary-General Angel Gurria sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu warning that comments by Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov had put the organization's upcoming meeting in Jerusalem into question, it was reported on Saturday.
Misezhnikov made statements in an interview with Haaretz on Monday implying that the OECD's decision to hold its conference in Jerusalem was a de facto recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
