Officials: Israeli pilots not hurt in Kfir jet crash in Colombia

Colombian officials on Tuesday reported that two Israeli pilots who were in an Israeli-made Kfir combat jet that crashed during takeoff near the city of Cartagena on Monday, were not injured in the accident. Local firefighters helped the Israeli flight instructors get out of the burning jet, which had crashed into large rocks. Colombia has purchased 24 Kfir fighter jets from Israel, in a deal estimated at $150 million.
