Ohio police kill man they say attacked people with machete

Columbus, Ohio police on Thursday shot and killed a man after they say he went into a Mediterranean restaurant and attacked five patrons with a machete, according to local media reports.
Police were called to the Nazareth Restaurant on the state capitol's northeast side at about 6 p.m. EST, according to the Columbus Dispatch newspaper. The suspect fled and police caught up with him about five miles away, the newspaper said.The five injured people were taken to the hospital - one is in critical condition, according to WCMH, a local NBC television station.
A representative for the police was not immediately available for comment.
