Oil pipeline bursts in California

A Crimson Pipeline-owned oil pipeline was shut after a spill from an 8-inch pipeline near Somis in Ventura County, California, on Tuesday according to local news website www.vcstar.com.
The Ventura County Fire Department officials estimated the spill to be more than 1,700 gallons of oil heading from a holding station in Ventura to a Wilmington refinery near Long Beach, the report said.
There were no reported injuries or damage, said the report, adding that the cleanup would take about three or four days.
