One man killed, another injured in bulldozer accident in Jaffa

One man was killed and another moderately injured when they were pinned underneath a bulldozer at a building site in Jaffa.

Police said their initial investigation indicates that the two men were sitting in a “bobcat” bulldozer when it ran into a hole and the two men were thrown from the cockpit, and became trapped underneath the bulldozer.

One man, aged 40, was able to free himself and was taken from the scene to Ichilov Hospital. The second man, in his 50s, was unable to free himself, and after he was pulled from beneath the bobcat paramedics ruled him dead at the scene.
