One of Tzahi Basha's killers given 5 years in jail

Nir Srur, who admitted to stabbing Tzahi Basha during a scuffle in Rishon Lezion two years ago which led to the latter's death, was sentenced Monday to five years in prison. The main suspect in the case, Ron Turgeman, was sentenced to ten years in jail earlier this year. In July 2007, 18-year-old Basha was killed when he tried to separate two warring sides. He was stabbed in the upper body. His parents were infuriated when police decided to indict the killers with charges of manslaughter and not murder.
