One wounded in West Bank car ramming attack

One person was lightly-to-moderately wounded on Wednesday after being hit by a car in a terror attack at the Gush Etzion Junction on Route 60 in the West Bank.
The man, an Israeli civilian in his 60s, was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
IDF forces in the area shot and neutralized the attacker.
The road between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion was closed off in both directions in order to facilitate rescue efforts.
A number of deadly terror attacks have taken place at this intersection in the past.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
