One year old baby dies after being left in hot car

A one year-old baby died on Thursday after being left in a car for several hours in the municipality of Avnei Hefetz in the Shomron.
An initial investigation revealed that the mother drove the baby to daycare but had accidentally forgotten her in the car.  When she returned to her car after several hours she found the child unconscious and immediately called Magen David Adom services. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the baby and transferred her to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba where they pronounced her death.
