Opposition leader Herzog blasts government for 'detachment' from public reality

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog lashed out on Saturday at the current Israeli government for its "detachment" from the public and what he said were its failures resonating in both the soci-economic and political spheres.
"There is no justification for the continued existence of a government that during its tenure increased social inequalities, inflated housing costs and living expenses, [and] placed a heavy [economic] burden on the middle class and weaker classes," he charged.
The Labor leader condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said the coming parliamentary Winter Session should be the last for the current Knesset.
