Over 400 rabbis sign letter penned to PM calling for end to Palestinian home demolitions

Over 400 rabbis signed a letter calling for an end to the demolitions of Palestinian homes that fall outside Israeli zoning laws.
Addressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the letter sought to find a solution by having Palestinians plan the development of their communities jointly with administrative bodies so that they comply with legal frameworks.
The rabbis who originally filed the appeal in conjunction with the southern district of Hebron, belong to or are affiliated with Rabbis for Human Rights. They hail from Israel, the United States, Canada and Britain, as well as other countries, and expressed that the current practice of home demolition fall outside of moral and Jewish tradition.
The appeal, featured on the Rabbi for Human Rights website, further calls for an interim injunction to stop the demolitions and asserts that this request is back by international law.
