Over a thousand employees of educational program strike to save program

An estimated 1,200 employees of an educational program that promotes the reduction of the gaps in Israeli society protested on Monday because the group fears of losing their funding.
"We came here today, with one goal, to call Education Minister Naftali Bennett to stop the tender that takes the plan, its employees and the 300,000 children to the abyss," said Uri Liberty, the chairman of the Karev Program.
The program has been shut down in more than 3,000 schools and kindergartens as of late February.
