Palestinian boy, 13, killed by Israeli troops after throwing firebomb

A Palestinian boy was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank.
The boy, Baha Samir Bader, 13, reportedly was shot in the chest in a town near Ramallah on Thursday evening.
The IDF said troops fired at the boy when he threw a firebomb at a unit leaving the village of Beit Liqia.
An Israeli military spokeswoman told the Palestinian Ma'an news agency that the soldiers “responded to the threat with live fire,” and that there would be a military police investigation into the reports of the dead teen. She also told Ma'an that the firebomb posed a “direct threat” to the lives of the soldiers.
