Palestinian foreign minister visits Cuba

The Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riad al-Malki, paid a visit to Havana Saturday as part of a state visit to Cuba.
The Palestinian politician paid homage at a bust of the late Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat. He also was the beneficiary of a floral offering in Havana.
While visiting the Caribbean island, al-Malki is set to meet with Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez.
AL-Malki is fresh off a visit to Spain in his quest to promote a historic solution to the conflict with Israel. A fluent Spanish speaker, Al-Malki studied in Latin America as a civil engineer at the Javeriana University in Bogota.
