Palestinian report: Family of Muhammad Abu Khdeir rejects Peres condolence visit

The family of murdered Arab teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir refused to welcome President Shimon Peres into their house to express his condolences, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
According to the report, Peres's bodyguards went to the home in Shuafat Monday to prepare for the president's visit, but the Abu Khdeir family turned them out.
Arelative of the family told Ma'an that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's sympathies, which were expressed over the phone, were not welcome either.
“We refuse to accept the condolences of someone who agrees on the murder of our people in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza," the relative was quoted as saying.
