Palestinian source: Washington meeting must regard 1967 lines

In light of the impending resumption of direct Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, the later was expecting references to the 1967 lines to be included in an invitation letter to a meeting between US, Israeli and Palestinian officials in Washington set for next week, Israel Radio reported on Saturday.
According to a Palestinian source, the pre-1967 borders would need to set the framework of talks.
The source added that neither direct negotiations nor the expected US-hosted meeting between Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Israeli envoy Yitzhak Molcho would set forth if the letter of invitation disregards the issue of borders to an independent Palestinian state.
