Palestinian who attacked soldiers with axe shot in W. Bank

An axe-wielding Palestinian man was shot and killed by IDF troops on highway 57 in the West Bank on Monday, police reported.
Though the IDF would not yet confirm if the man was shot by soldiers or not, police said that the man attempted to attack two soldiers with an axe and that they opened fire on the man, critically wounding him. Shortly thereafter the man died of his wounds.
Two of the soldiers were lightly wounded in the incident, when their jeep collided with the man@@@s car and flipped over on the highway.
