Police arrest Palestinian woman suspected of planning knife attack in Hebron

Israel security forces arrested a Palestinian woman, 27, near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron Saturday afternoon after a security inspection revealed she was carrying a knife, according to Jerusalem police.
Security personnel became suspicious after the suspect was asked to show her identification near the holy shrine. When she refused, police officers apprehended the suspect and placed her in handcuffs.
After conducting a thorough search of the woman, a knife was discovered. Police believe the Palestinian youth was planning to carry out stabbing attacks against security forces.
The young woman was taken into custody shortly after the incident. No one was injured in the event.
