Parents of woman found murdered in July arrested for alleged involvement in murder

The parents of a young woman found dead in their family home in late July were arrested this week on suspicion of being involved in her murder, Negev police said Tuesday.
A relative of the victim – who was a member of the Beduin Abu Queder clan - called police on July 22nd to report finding the body in the family’s compound outside Tel Arad, and investigators who arrived at the scene initially determined that the cause of death was suicide.
The body was then sent for an autopsy at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, where pathologists ruled that she did not take her own life, thus launching a murder investigation led by a special task force from the Negev subdistrict.
Police said Tuesday that the investigation is still ongoing and they have yet to arrest all those suspected of being involved. They also would not divulge what the motive was for the murder or what role the parents allegedly played in the crime.
On Wednesday both parents will appear in the Be’ersheba Magistrate’s Court for a remand extension on suspicion of accessory to murder.
