Paz-Pines urges PM to intervene in J'lem parking lot row

MK Ophir Paz-Pines (Labor) urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to intervene in what he called a "severe crisis" in the capital, a day after fierce haredi rioting over the Shabbat opening of the Carta parking lot. Speaking to Israel Radio on Sunday morning, Paz-Pines said that Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and the police were not getting the proper backing, adding that "Jerusalem must not be turned into Teheran."
