PepsiCo to buy SodaStream for $3.2 billion

Beverage giant PepsiCo announced plans to acquire the Tel Aviv-based SodaStream for $3.2 billion, CNBC reported on Monday. 
The at-home carbonated drink-maker SodaStream has now a chance to broaden its reach through PepsiCo, while the latter plans to shift away from sugary products and introduce healthier alternatives. 
The deal is expected to close by January 2019.
