A Knesset committee has agreed to hear a proposed bill by Labor Knesset member Amir Peretz to increase the monthly minimum wage from NIS 3,850 per month to NIS 4,600 per month."This is a great hope to the nearly one million workers that find themselves below the poverty line," Army Radio reported Peretz as saying.
