Four Israeli-Arab prisoners – responsible for an attack on an IDF base in which four soldiers were killed and five others injured – will, according to Palestinian sources, be released as part of the recent decision made by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
The four are: brothers Ibrahim and Muhammad Ighbariyeh, Yahya Ighbariyeh and Muhammad Jabarin. They belonged to an Islamic Jihad cell that infiltrated an IDF base 21 years ago.
According to the sources, the list also includes Ahmed Awad Kmeil, founder of the Fatah-affiliated Black Panther group, which was responsible for a spate of terror attacks that killed a number of soldiers, and Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel during the first intifada.
