PM approves import of dairy products to lower prices

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday approved a plan to increase competition in the dairy products market which included the opening of the market to imported dairy products.
Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said of the move, "The correct way to lower prices is through real competition in the dairy market and that is possible only through the opening of the market to imports."
