Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday said that construction on a barrier on the Egypt border will begin construction within the next two weeks. Netanyahu was speaking in the Negev at a ceremony commemorating the 37th anniversary of the death of Israel's first prime minister David Ben-Gurion.The government has long been planning a barrier on its southern border to keep out illegal immigrants infiltrating Israel from Africa.
