PM Netanyahu: 'The State of Israel won't have a street named after Arafat'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu took to Facebook on Saturday evening to comment on the public protest against a plan to name a street after Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at Jatt, a local Arab council located in the northern Haifa District.
"I spoke about this with Interior Minister Arye Deri, who made it clear that the ministry has not approved this. The State of Israel is not going to have a street named after Arafat- and we will act to remove the sign," the premier wrote in the post published on his official Facebook page.
