PM orders inquiry into suspected inquiry at east Jerusalem school

Does inviting the parents of terrorists to an east Jerusalem school constitute incitement?
That is the question Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit to look into on Tuesday, following reports that a private elementary school in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber invited to come speak to students the parents of terrorists killed while committing attacks against Israelis. The school is not under the jurisdiction either of the Jerusalem Municipality or the Education Ministry.

Ynet reported earlier this week that the school invited Mohammad Aliyan, the father of Baha Aliyan, who – along with another terrorist – killed Richard Lakin, 76, Alon Govberg, 51, and Haviv Haim, 78, on a bus in nearby East Talpiot in October. The family members of Mohammed Ali, shot to death while carrying out a stabbing attack at the Damascus Gate, were also invited.
According to the report, pictures from the event were pasted on a facebook page, as well as a post on the page that praised the terrorists and their families, and thanked the family members for the visit.
The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying that Netanyahu “ordered an inquiry” into whether this activity was incitement.
