PM responds to Sweden's intention to recognize 'Palestine'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Sweden's announcement it was going to recognize 'Palestine' as a state, saying "unilateral steps" went against agreements and would not bring peace closer but push it further away.
In a statement released to the public on Sunday, Netanyahu said any long term agreement would "be reached only through negotiations that will ensure the national interests of Israel," most importantly, the security of Israeli citizens.
