PM to sue Channel 10 for 'slanderous' flight funding report

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday filed a libel suit totaling NIS 1 million against Channel 10 and reporter Raviv Drucker over the investigation broadcast on the channel's "Makor" program last week regarding the funding of the prime minister's flights from foreign donors, Army Radio reported.

According to prosecutors, the Channel 10 report was slanderous and was carried out without checking the facts.

The report presented Netanyahu as someone who received funding for his trips abroad from businessmen with vested interests, at a time when he served as a member of Knesset.
