PMO denies reports that

The Prime Minister's Office on Thursday denied an Al Arabiya report that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu gave French President Nicolas Sarkozy a letter for Syrian President Bashar Assad. Al Arabiya had reported that in the letter, Netanyahu stated Israel was willing to cede the Golan Heights in exchange for peace with Syria. Netanyahu met with Sarkozy in Paris on Wednesday evening. Assad is expected to meet with the French president later on Thursday.
