Police arrest 2 Mexicans on suspicion of robbing J'lem jeweler

Two Mexican men were arrested at Sha'ar Hagai on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway on Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of robbing a jeweler on the capital's Agrippas Street earlier that day. The men were caught in possession of a suitcase containing money and tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. The men, arrested in a joint Israel Police-Border Police-IDF Kfir Brigade operation, arrived in Israel three days ago and were apparently due to leave the country on Wednesday.
