Police detains Israeli man who said he wants to ‘take Putin down’

Police arrested an Israeli man who approached a Jerusalem police officer and told her he wants to “take down [Russian President Vladimir] Putin" who is visiting Israel to honor the memory of the Holocaust, Ynet reported on Thursday.
The man was immediately arrested and claimed during his interrogation he was joking.
